When you are starting out as a binary options trader, there are certainly tools that you should have in your binary options trading toolkit. What does this mean? You don't want to simply predict that the price of gold is going to touch $2000 an ounce by tomorrow at this time.

You want, instead, to make a decision to invest in this prediction based on background information that you have. And this background information can come from a few sources.

Two of these sources are the black-scholes method and the geometric brownian motion. Using these formulas invented by brilliant minds, you'll be able to more clearly and securely make a prediction about what will happen with a binary options asset in a set amount of time. And this just might make all the difference for you as a binary options trader.
